These terms cover the Criminal Alert app and this website. By using them, you agree to the points below. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app is

Criminal Alert helps you see nearby incident reports, tell family where you are, check in, place a fake call, and report an incident with a photo or a voice note.

SOS sends your name and location to contacts you choose. It does not call emergency services and it is not a guarantee of safety. If you need police, medical help, or the fire service, contact them directly.

Your account and contacts

You are responsible for the name on your profile and for the people you add as family or emergency contacts. Send SOS and check-in messages only to people who expect them.

Reports

Report what you reasonably believe happened. Do not use photos, voice notes, or incident reports to harass anyone, to spread a false report, or to break the law.

Plans

Premium and Family plans provide a wider alert radius and more SMS than the free plan. Family is meant for a household. Prices, renewal, and cancellation are shown by the App Store or Google Play before you subscribe, and those stores handle the charge.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse SOS or check-in to frighten or spam your contacts.
• Do not try to break, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Do not use the app to commit a crime.

The service can change

Features, alert coverage, and message limits can change as the app grows. The app is provided as available. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.
